As a group the Coldplay guys are the stars of every album but if each album had to be allocated individually to each member who would get who??

I'd go for

Parachutes - Jonny Buckland, his sweet soft guitar is just perfect and beautiful.

A Rush Of Blood To The Head - No disrespect to the other members but this could have been a Chris Martin solo album. His piano and influence justs gushes through this album

X&Y - Guy Berryman's. A lovely bassy sound to the album. It really comes out top trump on most tracks.

Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends - Will Champion's. Drums are fairly different than on the other albums and he uses all his energy to create what is an energetic album. At times cultured, something tells me Will would have loved this side of the album.

What do you think, and if you want you can choose one of those albums which you can relate to most.

Parachutes- Chris

A new voice, piano....what piano, on a record! Simple lyrics that touch your soul and make you think he wrote every song just for you.

AROBTTH- Guy

He's got some fat fat fat bass lines on here. Don't believe me, go have a listen with the bass turned down.

X&Y- Jonny

Before X&Y was released the band said they wanted more keyboards on it. Well I don't know what they were smoking because this album is all guitars! Big fat riffs and loud loud loud! :D

Viva- Will

How frickin awesome a drummer has Will become. The album as a whole is very percussion driven. And Christopher finally stops hogging the mic and lets the boy sing. Yah Will!

I think JB's guitar is massive on X&Y but I think Guy Berryman and his bass is the real highlight.

So we're all in agreement that at least VLV is Will Champion's starring role.

Agree 100%. I love the strong base line throughout x&y and yes AROBTTH has Chris written all over it. Parachutes has that quiet yet strong statement about it much like Jonny, and VLV is feels like Wills brain child.
