I have felt like I didn't fit in at times because of my music tastes, for example:

Half of my school is into Metallica, and I'm not. So when I first moved and started talking to people someone was like "Hey do you listen to Metallica?" and I was like "Nope, don't like 'em don't listen to them..." They practicly gave me the death stare, but you should've seen their faces when I said my favourite band was coldplay, seriously it was fucking creepy. But yeah I don't think I'm helping here, so I'm gonna just leave. And Raven just give it some time, once you realize the world around you ain't so bad, you will also realize that you're not a loser, everyone has different tastes and stuff, so maybee you should just you know open up a bit to people, so they can actually TRY to get to know you...

but coldplay IS popular. people always say something about my coldplay shirt when id wear it, and they were mostly positive.

i did get a few "coldplay fucking sucks" but not that often.
