Fly to see concert?

Featured Replies

I live in Hawaii, and big artists rarely come here on tour.

I'm thinking that I should maybe try flying to California sometime in the future to attend a concert. It would have to be a concert/artist I REALLY wanted to see.

I would like to fly over when there are several concerts in a row that I could attend, to make the trip worth while.

Also, I would have to go alone, and I have social anxiety. So it would be tough.

Should I try doing this?

Depends. I would follow Coldplay on the road for a week or two. Also a few other bands. I am considering a Festival circuit next summer for fun. If you love music why not?

If you really want to see the artists/bands, then sure, go for it! Don't let distance stop you if it's something you want to do.

if I had the money yep definately. I often wish I lived in the middle of nowhere, but then I think about how lucky I am to live where I live because of the easy access to big cities to see artists/bands.

I have flown and attended concerts in a foreign country by myself before. I'm not exactly the outgoing type either, but once the band's onstage you tend to forget about the social awkwardness. Besides, in my experience most concert goers are rather friendly.

I say do it :D
