Great artist. Kind of ambient/chill out music. He's been compared to Sigur Ros, and has joined them onstage many times.

I figured I'd start this thread because the Album Leaf is one of my favorite artists. The main musician is Jimmy LaValle, who plays most if not all the instruments on his albums. Currently they are working on a new album that should probably be out in early 2010.

 

One of my friends introduced me to this band. At first I thought it was ok, but the more I listened to it the more I got into them. I find his music to be really great music to listen to late at night, and also while driving.

 

Hopefully there are some more people that have listened to this artists before and like them. If not I hope that this will introduce the band to some people :)

if you like these guys alot you should check out Decoder Ring, they're quite similar and just as good.

bump... you guys really should check this band out. They are perfect music for late nights, late night driving or near any kind of scenery.
