Coldplay books?! Help!

Featured Replies

Okay so I'm getting 'Look at the stars' tomorrow (really difficult to find as it's old and was only in two stores in my state) but I really want to know about all the Coldplay biographies and such that are out and where to find them?

I live in Aus. so any sites I could order the books from or whatever would help me lots! Need a collection people :P

I've never read any of them, but I know there is one called "Nobody Said It Was Easy". Supposed to be good.

When I bought the Viva La Vida disc i got a book for free, it's some sort of a biography with pictures of them. It's called "Coldplay" by Alex Hannaford. I think this one is the same but mine is a translation with another front:

[ame=http://www.amazon.com/Coldplay-Alex-Hannaford/dp/1903906733]Amazon.com: Coldplay (9781903906736): Alex Hannaford: Books[/ame]

There is a thread detailling all CP biography with reviews ^^

I red 'look at the stars' which was ok and an insight into how the band made it to the US. 'Nobody saif it was easy' was good too but more general ^^

But if you're a die hard fan, you won't learn much.

The book that will be a bible is Matt McGinn's book (see last page of the link I gave you).

As for where to buy them, I did on Amazon and it was perfect ^^

The two I mentionned have pictures ^^

Thanks! I bought 'Look at the stars' yesterday and it was the last copy in the store (literally only one more store has it now!)

Can NOT wait for McGinn's book, need to order the rest online asap :P

Hmm I haven't read that much yet but I am enjoying it a fair bit, except for the lyric mistakes and spelling errors! THAT'S driving me insane!

I bought a copy of "Look at the Stars" in Sydney last month. It was the last copy they had. I actually thought it was a pretty decent biography. The author had obviously researched the band, and the whole thing was written in good faith. It didn't strike me instantly as simply a tool for the author to make money.

Yeah I agree, from what I've read the author clearly wants to share his view on the band whilst giving background info. to the reader.

I got the book "Look at the Stars" by Gary Spivack and i think it's pretty good, but the pages easily fall out...:bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

:O oh no! I just got that book! Argh I'll try and look after it then...

Everytime I go to Borders, they never have any Coldplay books on the shelves.

Argh how frustrating, it's the same for me

You pretty much have to order them online to have a chance of getting one :(
