It's about a musical genius that has serious facial burns and scars, so he wears a mask. He lives in a Paris opera house and teaches and falls in love with one of the singers, Christine. However, Christine is in love with a rich man, and the Phantom is very jealous. Throughout the movie he kills people that make fun of him.
