I've been getting into more females, but I mostly only get into female vocalists with strange/ugly/weird voices like The Knife/Fever Ray, Kate Bush, Bjork, Joanna Newsom, Siouxsie And The Banshees etc. :tongue:

laura veirs, laura marling, white hinterland, emma pollock (the delgados), holly miranda.

russian red, rita redshoes (that's one spanish the other portuguese), ani b sweet. (also spanish)

those be the ones i've checked recently and that i did not bump any thread. (i bumped a fine frenzy and imogen heap.

Okay, so I'm not to sure whether I like Maika Makovski, Laura Marling or Holyl Miranda just yet. I like Laura Veirs, Emma Pollock, White Hinterland, Russian Red and Anni B Sweet. I don't like Rita Redshoes.

 

What makes me sad though is that the public libraries around here don't have anything by these artists so I'd have to buy them off iTunes or something which I can't do because I'm always saving up my money and I have a lot of other things I have to buy. :tongue:
