I agree there is little point in having severe penalties for drug possession, in fact I think the best thing all Countries could do is legalize and tax them and us the extra money to better educate people on their dangers, wow I'm very Liberal thinking tonight:confused:

no they aren't

Sorry, completly illegal bar shotguns and small calibre rifles which have very strict rules for getting a permit.

If you had a gun ( legally )

Do you have the right to shoot back as self defense?

yes. though i remember the famous case with the farmer who shot a guy who had tried to break in and was running away across the field and he shot him and went to prison. i was for him going to prison, it was unreasonable force. had he fired into the air it would have deterred the criminal and he wouldn't have come back.

are you being serious?

:laugh4: I fail at reading comments tonight.

How many people are trying to attack others there? :p

I am being serious.

without guns, people breaking into other people's houses with guns would be ridiculously rare so the need to defend yourself with such an extreme method would not be needed. if a gun is fired in this country it makes national news. i've never seen a gun in my life except for once at an airport held by a police officer.

Nah, they could still get guns easily. Plus what I was saying earlier, there are other weapons besides guns they could use.

My family doesn't own a gun, even though I live in Texas. :P But a guy broke into my house a few months ago and robbed my 13 year old brother at gunpoint...

Really? :stunned:

That's so scary. Did they get the person ?

I remember when you got robbed Kels. D:

If you like it then you should have put a ring on it ohohooooh, ohohohhoh, ohoh ohoh, OH!

i think if you have the gun in a place that isn't secure and unloaded etc in the first place and that is the only way to deal with them like you have been shot and are there yourself by the gun then it's ok. but if you just have it lying around loaded and you just grab it and shoot a guy who walks in you are aware of the fact that having a loaded gun at hand is dangerous which leaves you liable to an extent. it's a grey area but there are ways around it.

I don't get the big fuss about the Canada Day fireworks that everyone has to go each year.

It's all like "HEY I'MMA GO SIT ON GRASS IN CANADA UNTIL LIKE 1 AM AND HOURS OF SITTING BEING BORED AND WATCH A FEW MINUTES OF LIGHTS FLY AROUND IN THE SKY AND MAKE LOUD NOISES I MEAN IT'S NOT LIKE I HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO".

Really? :stunned:

i like the fact you don't trust this thread anymore and start every post with 'really?' :P

Yeah, they did.

He stole our Wii, a bunch of games, an X-Box controller, my other brother's iPod touch, and I don't remember what else... but anyway, he took the iPod touch to a game shop to sell it to them, and the guy who worked there was someone who knew my family apparently. He went onto the facebook that was on the iPod touch, and saw that it was my brother's (and my brother's facebook status was something about having just been robbed :P).

that is awful, though are you suggesting your 13 year old brother should have had access to a firearm?

I'm not suggesting that at all.

good. i didn't think you were. the ellipses confused me a little though

Lol at stealing the xbox controller.

My ipod has my name engraved on the back of it.

That was lucky though.

That reminds me, i have to close the windows behind me.

He left the Wii controller, which was kinda funny.

He's not the sharpest shool in the ted.

Fireworks are the best thing evar, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. WILLIS.

I'm getting excited about 4th of July.

My dad's band always plays downtown for the 4th of July every year, though. :blank:

Ok so I was just eating dinner and I asked my dad and he said the reason why people across the pond have the price after tax is because everything cost more over there and people in England have a 20% tax while we only have 6% :goofy:

Then went on a rant about Obama being a communist.

Haha, have fun gurrrl. :awesome:

I guess the fact that I used to be terrified of fireworks and ran around screaming bloody murder on Canada Day when I was younger doesn't help.
