I should chant CAN A DA CAN A DA all the time.

Maybe that pays for our free healthcare and such. :charming:

we all have free healthcare. that's the staple of a free society (not that i'm actually claiming that britain is really a free society). oh wait, america don't?

I bet there's like no one outside wearing red and white around here.

Doesn't America have expensive healthcare?

don't go to london. which is simple.

america has a war against drugs, guns in certain states, a nation that encourages the death penalty (which therefore shouldn't complain if somebody kills a person since the state should be of the people not higher than the people) and have the chant USA USA USA.

Most developed countries have somewhat of a drug problem though not just the US, I'm not actually too sure where I stand on their gun laws though, in some ways it's good for people to be able to defend themselves, in others it gives nutcases easier acess to guns.

I hate wearing red and white,

we had to in school when our county got in to the sport finals.

The healthcare bill was voted in, but we have to wait 4 years, I think, to get it.

But really, free healthcare is much more expensive in the long run than private healthcare.

If a Republican Administration comes to power next time could they turn around the free healthcare bill?

Even if guns weren't legal, nutcases would be able to get weapons. And then, without guns, how could we possibly defend ourselves?

nah, not a drug problem. they have ridiculous penalties for drug possession in some places. which sucks.

i know where i stand on gun laws and i'm happy i live in the uk on that front. i admit i could feel differently if i had been brought up in a country where it had been allowed though.

also, the systematic mass mutilation of male children bothers me

I'm not really sure.

but it helps those who cannot pay and this way it is taken from you more gradually so it doesn't cripple you financially like a doctors bill thrust upon you randomly

are you being serious?

:laugh4: I fail at reading comments tonight.

How many people are trying to attack others there? :p

without guns, people breaking into other people's houses with guns would be ridiculously rare so the need to defend yourself with such an extreme method would not be needed. if a gun is fired in this country it makes national news. i've never seen a gun in my life except for once at an airport held by a police officer.

See I partly feel this way too, and I can understand people doing target shooting for sport and stuff, but in the UK guns are completly illegal yet people still get shot and stuff obviously through illegal ones, I sometimes think, well obviously it makes a gun much harder to get as hardly any people would know how to so surely the UK having such strict gun laws has stopped a few nutcases too.

It's actually interesting in here today.

There's Medicaid, you know. My family couldn't afford healthcare, and we had to use Medicaid for a few years.

The healthcare system here definitely needed to be reformed, but I don't think that the new healthcare bill is good at all.

In Denmark, some people pay 65% in taxes

it works well though. i know in sweden the social services available are of a very high standard thanks to those taxes, and that is what's important

WINNIPEG IS THE MURDER CAPITAL OF CANADA AND THE SLURPEE CAPITAL OF THE WORLD AND SUCH.

It wins.

As Pat Benetar said;

"Hit me with your pet shark! Why wont you hit me with your pet shark?"

I agree there is little point in having severe penalties for drug possession, in fact I think the best thing all Countries could do is legalize and tax them and us the extra money to better educate people on their dangers, wow I'm very Liberal thinking tonight:confused:
