What is it?

There are two assignements, the first says that we have to write a program that reads from the keyboard (what does this mean? D:­) the length and width of a room in feet and the price of carpeting per square foot in dollars and cents. Compute and display, with explanatory text, the cost of carpeting the room.

 

And the second one is basically the same but it deals with hourly rate of pay and hours worked. :|

blahdyblahblah = Double.parseDouble(input); (double because of the decimals)

 

and blahblah room = length * width;

blahdy blah cost = room * price;

 

blahblaha

Our first two assignments were basically "Type this into the java program then submit it." so we haven't even really learned how to do anything. :/

 

And there's a test tomorrow.
