Can someone please explain what that means? I'm lost.

It means--forming these exclusive social groups (not like Chris's Curls or anything fun like that) that you can't get into and exist solely to feel like you belong and reject other people just to make yourself feel superior. I know because my freaking school's full of them. :(

Yeah...It's supposed to be one of the hardest trials of your life...Sometimes I feel good, but sometimes I feel like I'm really out of it and that everyone sees right through me. :(

 

It's not that my social life's in a rut, it's just that my friends are friends with me, but sometimes they belong to cliques. I on the other hand try not to get into social groups and just try to talk to anyone I like.

That isn't all bad though. You have your friends, and you feel no pressure to talk to people you don't like only to gain social status. That's great. Be an individual.
