broken bracelets :(

Featured Replies

I ordered some of the bracelets Chris wears but more than half of them have broken. I've tried Crazy Glue, but that doesn't hold them together.

Has anyone had any success in fixing broken ones?

I have only broken one of mine :smug:

But I have no idea how to fix them :(

melt both sides of the bracelet with a hot piece of metal... after you've done that put the sides together, wait some seconds till the plastic has cooled off and you'll have a brand new bracelet :)

I guess that should work:cool:

I tried electrical tape but it fell off when wet. I tried melting and it didn't hold. I tried 3 different kinds of glue. I tried running elastic through the center and tying the ends but then the broken ends pinched. I gave up and just throw them away now. (edit: I don't actually throw them away--I don't have the heart. They'll be part of a craft project some day) ;)

I'll say it again--to keep them from breaking never take them off!

As you can see in my siggy I still have 15 and it's getting close to a year! :nice:

There must be a way to fix them. I've tried three types of glue and melting the ends and nothing.

It sucks :(

Think of it as a good luck kind of thing. Like blowing a dandelion or something. hehe.

Wasn't there some trend like 7 years ago in which girls would wear bracelets and if a guy broke one of her bracelets it meant he wanted to fuck her?

Are you talking about the charity ones on sale at the concerts this tour? If so I'll have to tell my gf to be careful with hers!

@Josh, yeah, I think some girls still do it - there were a million different colors that all meant different things..
