Matter-Eater Lad
CLERMONT, Fla. -- More posters are popping up around Clermont showing President Barack Obama painted to look like the Joker. Police say they now know who put up some of them and the State Attorney's Office is investigating whether he actually did anything illegal. The city of Clermont says it does have to use resources to come out and scrape the signs off, but as soon as they do they pop up on another street corner. "You got all these here, then you have some that are down by the 7-Eleven," resident Scott Campbell said. http://www.wftv.com/countybycounty/20402063/detail.html
Saffire
...investigating whether he actually did anything illegal The government is an endless stream of hilarity. Even the cops don't know if citizens are breaking the law or not!

Darlene_Ihnfsa
Well here in America the government does its best to shut down free speech and expression. no offence but i think they do that depending on the case (which politician is and all that). if you defend free speech you defend it always, and if is shut down it should be shut down on any case... That's not the way it works here. If they like what you're insulting, they won't stop you, but if they get offended by it they shut you down. No, free speech should NEVER be hindered, no matter what the case.

From what I understand of Spain is its very autonomous, right? Very decentralized? Strong local government but weaker national government. If thats correct that'll make it easier to stop problems as long as the Federal government doesn't step in and take more power. In Soviet America, Hussein finds you! And cars drive you!
