Ok, so most of should know the story, right?

Well, for those of us who know it, then you would know about Friar Laurence's involvement in the relationship and death of Romeo and Juliet.

 

Basically, my question, out of personal interest, is, if you were a barrister for Friar Laurence or you were Friar Laurence yourself, how would you defend yourself in court to say that you are not guilty for the subsequent deaths of Romeo and Juliet?

 

Well??

 

Personally, I would take it from the whole biblical and godly perspective.

Tonight I've actually been watching the 50s movie version of romeo and juliet on you-tube, just as a sort of brush-up on details I've long forgotten.
