anyone have guitar chords for the scentist. i'm learning guitar. use my dads acoustic. and i have small hands. can someone give me chords for the song that will be easy for me to play??? i'm trying my hardest to learn it from the book, but can't stretch my hands.

With this version, you need a capo to play along with the original tune, and this actually makes it easier to play if you have small hands (since the fret width is decreasing up the neck).

 

I'm not sure which book you're using to learn it, but the way CP plays it requires no capo and a slightly different tuning. As you stated, it also requires rather flexible/long fingers and usage of the thumb on the 6th string, which certainly is hard for beginners.
