What's the progress thus far?

It's all been updated on the first post of this thread:)

I am so doing this! :D But it will be kinda hard doing it on your own with all the backing vocals.. I'll figure it out, though! This is too awesome for words!

you really dont need to worry about the backing vocals like the "yeah" and stuff like that or the words in parentheses. There will be many videos so in at least one video, someone will cover that part.

 

just sing what you feel like and remember that this will be a combination of all of our videos. Everyone will fill in the blanks for each other.

 

 

now here's an idea i had. something you could do if you don't want to show yourself or if you just want to do something different is write the words to each line on your hand and put it up, like one line at a time... you know what i mean? like for one line have "We're bringin Nappies back" on your hand. that's be cool. Thep urple girls will be doing some of that. Also we could have some random dancing shots or just like funny faces.

Yeah guys, even if you absolutely refuse to sing under any circumstances or show your face, you can still take part in this!:)

 

 

Also, I believe we should have credits at the end where we list the usernames of all participants(well we know Phil goes on coldplaying so that's the main reason I think we should do this. Wouldn't it be so cool if Phil was on coldplaying and saw one of your usernames and said "hey they were a part of that crazy Nappies video!"?), and the actual names(first names only if you want) of those who don't mind showing their faces. So if you don't mind singing and/or showing your face on screen, at some point it would be nice if you could send one of us three(me, Emily, Karen)a pic of yourself via PM that we could use with the credits.

yup! anything you want to do... you can do it. it doeesnt have to be singing. you could do a freaking cartwheel if thats all you want to do. Also... i was recently in my cousin's funny music video... and some of the best parts were just us drumming on garbage cans or like... high fiving on a car hood. really random stuff if just funny.

We can work out a deadline once we have 100 sign-ups, that's our goal:) Then we'll compile a list of all those who wanted to have some part in the video, and then we'll probably give a deadline of a couple of weeks or so.

well i don't think we are getting to 100 very soon and this is the Nappies Recruitment Song, so i think we shouyld do it before all the members sign up. it will draw in more people!

 

So...

 

If this causes an uproar of complaints i will change this but i propose that the deadline should be November 7th. This is over a month so it allows enough time but it is still soon enough. After that we will probably still accept stuff but you wont get much time in the video. it will be first come first served for the biggest parts.
