Depends on the individual circumstances. Some people have no choice but to live with their parents because they can't afford to live anywhere else. That's not their fault.

Getting married or not is an individual's choice, and "society" has no right to dictate to anybody on that score.;)

In my opinion you should just live on your life and hopefully those things will come to you. That's at least what i would have done.

Everyone wants that, a family and security. It's normal. As it is normal too to be scared of the future.

 

But regarding the new question, I quite feel comfortable in my age. There is sooooooo much I want to learn about and discover still, but hopefully I'll be able to do that.

Well I'm fourteen, which is young, very young, I'm aware. But I've always felt much older then that, and almost every day someone tells me that I act much older. Not sure that's a good thing. When you're fourteen you should act like fourteen since you're only fourteen once, right? On the same time, I can't try to act differently. Since by obvious reasons, that would feel fake. It would be fake.

Right now, I don't feel rushed to achieve my goals. I'm just focusing on college.

I would like to be married and have a family before I'm 30, though.

Well, it's different in other parts of the world. Not everyone lives in Europe and the US.

maybe the world is overpopulated, but not every country is, because in that case there would be not reason for the pro-natal incentives for example. If people suddenly stops having families, there would be a big problem for the governments because they wouldn't have enough money to support to a population mostly composed by old people and all the things they need.

Maybe not, but attitudes in some other countries are going to have to change before it's too late.

You seem to be very mature for being an 14 year old swede, i'm 16 and i have cousins in your age just being totally immature.

 

I've always been told the same, that I act older than I am and to be honest is kind of hard because you don't really get taken seriously that very often, that of course is if i don't count the older friends i have.

I don't really think that's a bad thing.. That shows that you are more mature than the rest of the kids at your age... somehow that gives you some sort of advantage

In terms of resources, the world is already nearing saturation point. It has nothing to do with "space" per se.;)

but the society requires us some customs.. i mean if you are 30 and you're still with your parents or not married.. maybe some parents would ask you to move your ass or get a life/job. and then you would feel down.

Men min generation är väl lite... speciell också. Fjortisar är ett fint exempel. :P Hela deras stil är ju egentligen uppbyggt på omognad. Vilket låter konstigt, men du kanske förstår vad jag menar ändå.

you are right...I do think that it is my business and nobody else's....but it can be quite annoying if even people who you do not have that much to do with ask you when you will find someone...esp. when they say that they sooo do not understand that I don't find someone...I don't understand it either which seems to be the biggest problem....I think I just think too much about it and forget living...

 

Yes, you should just live for "the moment", do what you like to do, and always try to do things for the right reasons, not because of external pressures.;)
