That's what everyone tells me. They clearly haven't visited the place. It's boring as hell and people are generally not very friendly, you hardly ever see anyone smile.

The only thing I've heard about is that in some countries in Europe it is very boring! And one of the main problems in Russia is that people here are always trying to have fun!:laugh3: that is why sometimes it is a complete chaos there:laugh3: And vodka is not a reason as many think...in a word-forget about serenity and calmness if you are in Russia:dozey:

People generally don't know how to enjoy themselves and work is taking over their lives which makes them unhappy. It isn't such a bad place to live, just not somewhere I'd want to spend my life. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have a life if I lived there.
