See I'm only discovering all of these albums now. Question: Has Viva gone up or done for you guys since initial release?

for me Viva was initially was at No.8 i think but now over a year later its about No.18 to 20. i still enjoy it but last year had soooo many amazing albums. Fleet Foxes S/T is No.1 and after there're about 15 albums which i like equally and cant choose between. now that this thread has started i might sit down and think about it and try and put them in some sort of an order.

VLV hasn't changed for me nor has Dig Out Your Soul.

I made a mistake last year naming R.E.M.'s 'Accelerate' the best release of 2008.

Obviously that should have been Elbow's 'The Seldom Seen Kid' instead (which was my #2).

Fleet Foxes has definitely gone up for me, as has Bon Iver.

Dig Out Your Soul has DEFINITLEY gone up.

 

I liked it when it came out, but nowhere near as much as I liked it now.

 

 

VLV has stayed the same, since I don't think I can love that album anymore than I already do. :heart:

i tend to discover alot of music in december after the end of my uni semester and dont get around to listening to them properly before i make my end of year lists. which is why theres such a dramatic shift in some of the positions. but the top 15 is basically the same just in a different order.
