One of the recent surprises for me was something that happened a week ago. I won't explain the whole story. But I found out that somebody was wondering if I could come to a certain place in January.

 

It sounds a bit weird without the extra details. :P

 

I was also surprised on Thursday, with something that I knew would happen, but I didn't know when exactly. It was very nice. :braces:

I think the last time I was surprised was when I found out that I had gotten an A in Latin. :dozey:

Also another surprise on Thursday was when I got a 5 (the highest grade) on a geography test. I hadn't previously even read all of the lessons from the book.

Taking Latin actually helps you learn other languages. Mainly becuase it is the base language for all other languages. I am going to be taking French soon and I've heard that a lot of words in Latin are very similar to French words. Such as amici and ami. Both mean "friend".
