Pretty interesting to think VLV, Violet Hill, 42 and Strawberry Swing could have conceivably missed out. The first two seem like staples.

 

In his book, Matt McGinn explained that Viva la Vida -and Fix You, 3 years before- were 2 songs very close to go the dustbin. Guy saved Fix You by founding "Tears stream down your face and I...". About VLV, some people just thought it wasn't good enough !

Oh thanks I didn't know that page. Quite interesting. How comes they show Lost! as an E.P. ? And I never heard of this Norwegian live.

 

But anyway, for LIJ I was talking about the recording page of the official Coldplay website. It's still not there. Should I ask the Oracle why ?
