Wrong. They are part of Parliament, but not of the government. However, they were the government in the early 90s, when the Iron Handbag and John Minor botched up the privatisation of BR, among countless other things.

Only partially right. Usually it's not. There's something called checks and balances or Parliament = Legislative and Government = Executive. However, in the UK traditionally (might change in May) ONE party has the majority in the Parliament i.e. they also form the ruling government.

 

Anyway... take the coach! ... but London will have another fare rise in January. Don't wanna look at the receipt and just hide... :(
