i can't even think i had a crush on that..

i liked him, he was a great teacher so tbh i don't know what to think.

but what do you people think? to me it's both faults because it seems like she agreed to it.

If the allegations are true, he broke the law, pure and simple. There is no excuse for his actions whatsoever.;)

The worst part is that it seems the first "incident" was brushed under the carpet!:dozey:

well you know i don't take sides of rapists..

but she was with him many times & she didn't do anything to stop it..

Are you kidding? Because she agreed to it, its ok? Whats he thinking fucking a minor in the first place, legal or not, it's sick.

i'm not saying he's innocent & it's not his fault..

but i'm asking is it fair to say it's her fault too?

That doesn't matter, as she was clearly "vulnerable" and he took advantage of his position.

If she was under-age, it also constitutes "rape".;)

If she allowed it, then it's partly her fault too, I think. :\

No. Not in any way whatsoever.;)

yes & that's why he's in jail.

but is it also her faul or is she completely innocent of her actions?

me & a friend were talking about it & some people say she has nothing to be blamed for..

They're right. A teacher is in a position of "trust", and he betrayed this.

Even if a pupil "entices" a teacher, the teacher should know there is a boundary that should never be crossed.

While a pupil is at school, teachers are responsible for their "welfare". In a sense, they are representing the parents during this time, and therefore need to act accordingly.

This is so true, but she still had a say in what happened, and she allowed it!

Whether she did or not, what he did was wrong on every level. What happened may well have scarred her for life, which is terrible.;)

 erh...

It could have been a lot worse,

but he should have known not to cross that line.

Maybe she wanted to be scarred for life. :charming:

how do you know it scarred her for life?

i just feel horrible for the guy because he was always nice & caring

he helped us & wasn't strict, he listened & took the time to explain things over.

i did see him after class a couple of times to talk about some problems i had cuz he understood where i was coming from & gave me good advice.

back then i considered him a friend but i'm glad i didn't end up like that girl.

but he should have known not to cross that line.

That's all that matters in this case.;)

I very much doubt it.:dozey:

Maybe it's better if teachers don't come across like that.;)

What if SHE used HIM? :o

He's still the one that broke the law, not her.;)

Also, when this sort of thing happens, the teaching profession in general is tarnished.

He's still the one that broke the law, not her.;)

Fucking age differences. :disappointed:

The fact that they were "teacher and pupil" is the bigger issue here.;)
