Do you live near the sea, right? I was mostly on the Istrian peninsula, and wow... :stunned: it was a great holiday! :) I've been to, well, many places, including England, Greece, Tunisia, but I can't compare the scenery in Croatia to anything. Be proud of your country! ;)

And that's the Blue Lake which is basically the main tourist attraction and the only pretty thing about the Mount.:P

Another one is the Nga Manu Bird Sanctuary. Here is a map of it.

 

We used to have a lion safari park here, but it closed down many years ago.

 

In my hometown, the only snow we get is on the Rimutakas.
