I wrote a sonnet using Coldplay lyrics.

He says in song he used to rule the world

The band plays as the butterflies cascade

He says there never was an honest word

The bass line and the church bells behind fade

For him, the confusion it never stops

He says he is going back to the start

The closing walls and all the ticking clocks

The questions cannot speak loud as his heart

He says that all the lights will guide you home

The stars that shine for all the things you do

The lights that guide you will ignite your bones

The stars are Yellow as his eyes are blue.

If you never try then you’ll never know

Just what you’re worth. It truly must be so.

He says that all the lights will guide you home

The stars are Yellow as his eyes are blue.

Jajajaja!! GReAT!

It truly must be so. ¿? where is it from?

That's quite a nice poem you've got there.

But, I see that teh lyrics are a bit obvious in your poem, i mean if that's how you want your poem, that's great.

I do genuinely love that poem, I've seen some coldplay-themed poems, but this one is

the best.

Well done, just wondering...how long did it take you to write?

Nay? So negative? At least I didn't say "THIS SUCKS BALLS".

I just think that perhaps a bit more effort than 5 minutes would bring improvements.

Nice job!:D

And i see Cobalts point- i think if you have done this well with a mere 5 minutes

of effort, you could do much more. Give it some time- even let it lay around a few days and just see what/ what else may come to you....
