This might be completely speculative, but anybody have any clue as to when and where we night be able to see a Coldplay performance next? Any speculation should be entertaining; validated information even more so. I've already started saving money so I can fly to London to see that first little club gig they do to debut their new material. Somebody hook a brotha up!

wow from san diego to london. all i know is that they`re taking a looong (1 year) break before working on the new album.

here's some speculation:

 

after touring england in an unlabeled tent to avoid corporate sponsors, they will release an album of music that vaguely recalls aphex twin and autechre and is therefore deemed "revolutionary" and "inaccessable." critics will eat it up, proclaiming coldplay the best band ever, along with many of their fans, while other fans will wait, frustrated, for a return to coldplay playing "proper rock music." they will tour only sporadically.
