Hey guys, a band from Australia named The Jezabels have released their debut single and a piano riff that runs through most of the melody in the song sounds quite similar to the piano riff on Death and All His Friends.

 

Thought people might like to have a listen.

Hmmm there are some chords that are similar, but it's not so much the same. The chords progression isn't the same at all.

Hmm, I dont know why the song struck me though. You are right the start of that chord progression sounds the same but in DAAHF another high note. Still good though, i dare say Coldplay are some inspiration for that song.

I can hear the similarity even though they arent similar at all. I like it.

Haha am I the only one who thinks it sounds more like Lukas than DAAHF? :D

I can hear a few slight similarities to DAAHF but I don't think they need to be worried about being sued just yet :lol:

 

I'd be interested to hear more stuff from them when they have an album out or whatever, I quite liked that track!

Yeah, don't think they would take any action on the band.

Just saying that everytime i listen to this song it brings DAAHF to my head because

of the intro to that progression which is similar.

I prefer DAAHF with the chord progression, fills the emotion more.

Mmm, yeah I can see similarities between the chord progression in both songs but the two songs themselves are very different. :)

Good publicity for bands, almost copying Coldplay to attrack our attention :P it's quite good.
