May 18, 201016 yr hi my name's Klaudia, I'm 22 and I'm from Poland, I've never seen Coldplay live, the first time I saw them was probably either Clocks or The Scientist on the telly in 2003. I'm not the fanatic, I just love their music, it really fits me. what else.. I study international relations at the university, I obviously love the music, I feel sorry to say it on the Coldplay forum, but my absolutely favourite band is the Manic Street Preachers, and that's the one I'm mad about. I don't think I'd be frequent guest on the forum, I'm more interested in the discography, I like collecting the cds or vinyls. and yeah, that's probably all so once again HELLO!
May 18, 201016 yr welcome here Klaudia happy posting :sunny: btw here you can find more Polish coldplayer.
May 18, 201016 yr Author than you very much! it looks that Polish subforum has been empty for a while :)
May 27, 201016 yr Author thank you all very much. the Manics are a very political band, if you wanna check them, try their myspace or i might recommend you some tracks by them. their lyricist Richey Edwards disappeared in 1995 (they're mainly known for that hooray!). i've got some quotes of their bass player, Nicky Wire, about Coldplay&Chris (he doesn't like him too much) NW: ...The other thing I think is truly bizarre is Coldplay going so “Holy Bible” in their pictures and videos. And there’s a track on the album called “Yes”! Q: I take it that lyrically, it’s not covering many the same bases… NW: It’s not… thank God. I think it’s weirdly admirable that Chris Martin has dragged his band kicking and screaming towards that image change. It’s like they’ve gone “We must try harder” and that’s got to be a good thing. It’s a hard record for me to like, but there’s something about the amount of effort they’re putting in that makes me think “Good on you.” The attention to detail I admire. I think with a lot of bands, they just seem to have lost the glamour and the will to make any kind of effort to look the part.
