Well I have to learn the language first. :D

I guess I'd translate in the next period. So in January.

Hi Tammi.

that's awesome :awesome:

hey tammi. :)

Yeah :awesome:

I don't really see what kinda things you can learn when you begin french.

Where are you in french lessons ?

We're doing irregular verbs in the present tense.

Omg that's sweet.

:wacky:

I love French.

Haha I know. :wacky:

How many hours do you have the week ?

I speak some French and German. I know more German now, but I still prefer French, as it's a better-sounding and better-looking language, and is far more straightforward.

Hey Mark, I found this for you:

:)

Are you trying to rattle my cage or summat?

I don't hate James Blunt. I just find his music rather bland, that's all. I have the same problem with Katie Melua.

They also both had "debut" songs which were played to death and consequently became extremely annoying.

However, I think they both have decent personalities. James Blunt in particular, as he always comes across very well in interviews, and is always sending himself up.;)

I'd still rather hear something by James Blunt than something "manufactured" by the likes of Gargoyle, Bratney or Bieber.:dozey:

Incidentally, the video didn't work, as it is blocked in Germany.

you speak german greg? :surprised:

I used to speak basic German quite well. I got a B at high school in my German exams, but ever since then I haven't really used it. Julia was speaking German to me the other week and I picked up most of it (though she wasn't saying anything really difficult). I'm going on a refresher course at some point soon though and if I live there for a while I'm sure I'll have no problem.

I always found German a lot easier than French, but that may be due to the teachers I had, and also the disruptive nature of my classmates for French.

yes no doubt if you live there you learn faster. :)

that's how i mainly learnt portuguese.

that's pretty good :), so plan to move to germany then?

me when at school and highschool we could only take french as 2nd foreign language, english was compulsory, but for me that i had it for french :p so i could have another optative course instead.

only at uni was given the chance to learn german but i thought level would be high and i didn't took it. :\

if i would had chosen that i'd speak 4 foreign languages now.

I always feel guilty and arrogant for only really knowing my own language.

We had a similar setup. French was compulsory at high school, and then in the third year (of five) the people in the top set had the option to take German as well.

Yes, the plan is to move there for a while to conclude the European tour. Maybe get a job teaching English for a year (or less, or longer haha). It all depends on how much I like it. I'm in no rush to return to England though. I don't dislike it but I want to experience some new cultures.

that's a good plan. :)

so will tour europe for how long? where you'd like to go?

i heard you were abroad before, right? living on your own or tourism?

i miss being in portugal on my own.

i feel ashamed by some fellow spaniards who are almost unable to speak other than spanish, is really sad today. :( ok we can't learn all languages but at least one...

at least they give you the chance two choose between the two earlier :)

Hi all. :nice:

I'm gonna teach you french moo.

It should last around 3 months I think, and then settling in Germany. I want to go to France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Norway, though I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to all of them considering all the things I want to do in those places.

I was in Morocco the other month but that was just for tourism with my sister and her husband and his brother. I was only there for one week but I've never been to a place like it, and now that I'm not at uni I have the time to save up and do something I really want to do.

Yes, I am making it a mission to learn a new language fluently. There is no reason why I can't! Do you have any plans to travel?

Hi all. :nice:

You can do! I look forward to it :)
