You're not missing anything great.....at least one person makes a point to sing that song to me everywhere I go :lol: It used to bug me, but now it's become a fact of life and I can't escape it, meh. Sternly, an Avatar is the picture under your screen name. I think in here the limits are 150x150 pixels and under your profile you can upload your avatar. I hope this helps.
