I like eye contact, I have a hard time talking without making eye contact. But I've noticed a lot of people don't like it. It demands authority to keep eye contact throughout a conversation.

Eye contact takes effort. :\

I actually got put in a bunch of programs when I was younger to learn social skills.

They actually helped a lot. :surprised:

I still really suck, though.

I was in speech therapy for a few years. I still mess up a lot when talking.

 

The other day at work I said to a coworker "Yes, I asked her" refering to a customer. But it sounded like I said "Yes, I assed her"

I always startled when I talk. I can't even speak smoothly in Malay, what do you expect to see me speaking English :disappointed:
