Instrumentals.

Featured Replies

Here I have some of my Coldplay's song instrumental versions.

The Scientist very shortened with my kind of idea for the next part and ending.

The Hardest Part live, acoustic, with no vocal and with the Postcards at the end, and Half of Fix You. Half, because I was too lazy to do the hard part, lol.

Let me know if it's good or bad. I know that the quality's not the best, but forgive me. I had this idea, that if You want to add something to it (probably not), I don't know, the guitar or the singing, as you want, you can let me know.

It great if you can mute the guitar sound in every single coldplay song:)

These are pretty good. I like how in your Scientist you played it the way Chris does in the VLV tour. :)

Only mistake I spotted - at the end of the Hardest Part, you played a different chord (which does sound good) but in the actual song it's Eb - F repeated a couple times.

What do you mean about adding guitar/vocals to the instrumentals?

No you already heard that Bach ; O I posted this a long time ago!

Well, I tried to do multi tracks in audacity you know, playing piano then recording guitar but the problem is I can't really play very well on the guitar so I suggested that if someone wanted to play with those tracks he/she can do it, but I know the quality sucks so does playing and the tempo and all of the things, so that was just a thought, but if anyone wants to hear some stuff I can put something that I recorded for my friend.

And thanks very much for that I always had a dilema with those chords.

Weird. For whatever reason this thread was at the top of the thread index. :O

I see what you mean. In that case, this is a quite a useful tool which I'd capitalize on if I had 1. time 2. an electric guitar 3. talent. :p

So you play piano, guitar or both? I know it's easy figure this out but I got lost.

I play both, and no worries. It's not like it's written all over my profile or something (which it isn't, don't worry :p).

Tell me more about this multitracking business though. What's Audacity and does it cost money? The only recording "equipment" I have is a digital camera (that's technically not a video camera).

  • Author

Hahaha never mind . And I don't have anything like that either :P I had always problems with recording, well my microphone is a piece'o shit, digital camera doesn't record sound only pictures o.O and my video camera...well I kind of lost the cd so I can't connect it with my computer and can't put the files there. Audacity is actually freeware as I remember, it doesn't cost any money it's a simple (yeah very simple) program to record and you can put multiple tracks in there. Why I asked about instruments you play, can you do something like the other thread you created (I know you have chords in there) but more in piano form?

Ah well I might look into Audacity then. >_<

Did you mean you wanted something like sheet music? I'd be able to do that; do you know a program that makes sheet music easily?

  • Author

Actually not. I tried some but well didn't know how to use it -.-

Trying Magicscore5 now, but it has only demo in freeware, quite a shame because I could write something too if I could find a good program for that (or I'm too stupid to use them?). And if you want to write a sheet, well that would be great and helpful for sure. Eh. I'll still try to search for something but I don't promise anything.

I really want to put one in the song, but there is no way to prepare for the use of instant messaging instrumental instrumental done before, until I can make my own original music, but I want people exposed to my music. Should I give him a chance.
