Currently this is in its very early stages, but I have asked someone out who is a mates ex.

1. Would you go out with a mates ex ?

2. Is it that low ?

Well, personally I wouldn't but it depends. If your friend isn't upset about the breakup then you could consider it I guess :confused:

Was it a mutual breakup or did your mates ex dump you mate? If your mate was dumped, I'd say maybe reconsider

yep it could be that good as we have faniced each other for about 2 years

Well it depends if there's still feelings between them and of course, I'll ask for my friend's approval. It'd still be weird though... it's not "low" but still weird. lol

If they broke up a while ago, not recently, then it's perfectly fine. The only way it would be low or mean would be if your friend still liked the girl. But if he doesn't, then she's your's for the taking. - After all, it didn't work out between them, they've both moved on ((right?)) so there's no reason why she and you can't date who you want

Yeah, if there broken up and hate each other, well, that's the past, they blew there chance's and it's over.

If there's an issue here (ie, if your mate still likes his ex and will be gutted if he knows you're dating her) then I would say what's more important to you - your mate's friendship, or the possibility of discovering the love of your life? If there's no issue, other than the fact that he's your mate and you feel a bit strange about marking his (ex) territory, then what's the problem?

 

Also, if you've fancied each other for 2 years then there is definitely 'unfinished business' there! I say go for it, cos that feeling ain't gonna go away!
