When do you think LP5 will come out?

Does "May be the streets alight!" makes sense?

Like "I wish that the streets were alight" like in "old" English?

But then it would be "May the streets be alight!", right?

Oh my, if that doesn't even make grammatical sense to native speakers, then I should better shut up now.

I was actually thinking the same thing...

It seems that it would be "Maybe The Streets Alight", meaning that maybe the streets will encounter accidentally.

i was thinking the same :nice:

may be the streets alight

as a substantive "alight" is a synonym for "the landing"? landing on the moon or what?:D

and as a verb it is a synonym for "to land"?

so "may be the streets landing"?? i am confused :p

No no, "alight" as in "bright, full of light". That's what I meant at least. :P

According to my dictionary:

alight

- on fire

- showing a feeling of happiness or excitement

- to land in or on something after flying to it

- to get out of a bus, a train or other vehicle

Ok, I meant the adjective :P

Alight like alit... oh my, this is like an English lesson! :laugh4: :awesome:

MAYBE THE STREETS ALIGHT or A LIGHT MAY BE THE STREETS

IT HAS TO BE THE SINGLE!

I KNEW THEY WERE GONNA RELEASE SOMETHING BEFORE FESTIVALS

COLDPLAY!

^Weeeeeeeee!

Yeah, now I'm sure it's gonna be before the festivals! :D

i do believe it could be Maybe The Streets Alight, such as "maybe the streets light up... maybe they don't :charming:" or something.

or it could be Maybe The Street's Alight (as in "the Street is Alight"), which would make more sense, because i don't think "alight" would be used as a verb in my interpretation :P
