February 5, 201115 yr The Arctic Monkey’s lead singer Alex Turner is going solo, and he’s doing it next month. It has been confirmed that the singer will be releasing a solo album next month. The album is mostly acoustic guitar and piano based tracks, produced by Simian Mobile Disco’ s James Ford – who is also working on the Monkey’s new album - and is taken from the upcoming film Submarine, which is due for release in March. This album will be released on 14th March and will be in addition to the new album being worked on by the Arctic Monkeys in LA. For Turner fans this is good news indeed. February 6, 201115 yr i think this might be a little bit like what damon albarn did with The Fall and gorillaz. it is a new full length release but not something thats a seriously big deal and shouldn't really get in the way of the stuff he does normally. i dunno tbh. im just speculating.
