I don't know why anyone would want to kill such an impressive, intelligent animal, but vegetarians argue that no animals whatsoever should be killed to provide food. I do feel that whales are a special case, though.;)
February 18, 201115 yr Author It's an awful thing, to kill a whale. My friend Mal saw one killed in front of him and he still has nightmares about it. Took the poor thing over 25 minutes to die. I believe that there is absolutely no reason to kill a whale. Especially since they are E.N.D.A.N.G.E.R.E.D. They are a treasure to this planet and to lose them because of human stupidity would be truly a tragedy. Today's a great day for the whales, over 900 saved in this year's Sea Shepherd Campaign.
