ooolala! do tell!!!

ohh dear...the story is a little long the way I tell it...hmmm..alrighty then, I'll post it, but I won't really go into THAT much detail!

This is basically how it all started…

On Thursday October 30th, I went to HMV to see them, so I ended up talking to all of them and telling Fran that he was basically the reason why I wanted to be a musician and he was amazing and so nice, and he gave me advice about it and everything.

Then I started talking to Dougie, and he said that he liked my hat and we were talking for some time, and I finished talking to Neil and Andy, and that was that.

So the next day, which was Friday October 31rst (Halloween) I went to Edge 102 and took pictures with Neil and Dougie because they were the only ones there, Fran was resting because he wasn’t feeling too well and Andy was off doing another interview.

Soooo...

As I was getting ready to take a picture with myself and Dougie, he told me that he liked the horns that I was wearing on my head (Cos I was wearing devil horns in spirit of Halloween) and I said “Thanks, you liked my hat yesterday too.” And Dougie realized who I was and he was like “Oh RIGHT! You have very nice head gear.” And I laughed and said thank you, then I asked him if he could give Franny a poem I had made him, and Dougie was like “For sure! I promise not to read it!” (And from that sarcastic voice I knew he'd take a peek) and then Dougie and Neil left, and I was just left wondering if Dougie would remember to give it to him.

So then the concert came and went (and it was absolutely BRILLIANT!) But after it, my friend Allana and I walked around the back of the Hummingbird Centre to the Stage Door and we got to talk to Fran and Dougie, so I went up to Dougie and was like “Dougie, did you give Fran my poem?” and Dougie was like “Yeah!” then he touched Fran and went “Franny! This is who wrote you that poem” and Fran was like “Ohhh YOU’RE AMANDA KEMP?!” and I was like “Yep!” and he shook my hand and he thanked me and told me how much it meant to him and such, and he also asked me if I went on the message board on travisonline.com and I was like “Yeah, sometimes!” and he said “What do you go on as?” and I said “Oh, just my full name!” and he was like “I’ll have to look for you then!” and then he told me that he loved the horns that I was wearing and Dougie said “Amanda really does have the best head gear!” and Fran said “Yeah, she really does!” so then I shook their hands and thanked them, and Fran thanked me again and away I went.

So that's basically my Travis story, with some of the talking cut out :)

AWWWW BLESS YOU. I LIKE THAT STORY A LOT AND I LIKE BANDS LIKE TRAVIS THAT ARE SO NICE TO THEIR FANS.
