April 12, 201115 yr Taking into account of how multicultural and diverse this world is are human rights actually a universal concept?
April 13, 201115 yr Haha I just got out of my Human Rights class. Would take ages to discuss in depth. Since I'm lazy/busy I'd say they are universal, in theory at least...
April 14, 201115 yr Different people and different cultures define what human rights are. In some cultures, killing another human being is entirely intolerable, no matter the circumstances. However the ancient Aztecs would sacrifice thousands of people, ripping their hearts out as a way to pay a blood-debt to the gods. It was accepted and necessary. There can be no general set of rights or rules to govern all peoples of the world. But what separates us from the animals is our ability to formulate our own individual senses of right and wrong, and live based on those morals.
April 16, 201115 yr maybe no right universal, because everyone should have the same right to live in dignity. Any objective morality in the society because is have any sense of empathy by the people between them. the people who need to understand each other's for made rights universal
