Should Coldplay have their own record label?

 

 

Like seriously EMI are cruel and horrible

I dont understand why they dont if they keep on screwing then around

like they are basically nothing!

I would really like to know everyones opinions

All big record companies stink, but they still have the heavy distribution, deep pockets and all the contracts. I'm sure they could do it, but not sure it's ultimately feasible to incur all the big and little costs involved.

I mean, they gave them a pretty good deal for making the first album. $200k I think it was?

I mean EMI does have them by the balls, but it's them to thank for the exposure. Without them, I don't think Coldplay would be the band they are now. Or even the band they were.

Yeah, I don't really see why. EMI do have a lot of financial problems, but they aren't leaning on only Coldplay. A lot of the other artists they have signed make Coldplay look small.
