J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter Announcement

Featured Replies

I personally hope she leaves the series alone and starts something else, I would much rather see a new series with different characters.

She was supposed to write a book with (what she said) a female character has a heros but dunno where she is with that... If it was that, the site wouldn't be called 'pottermore'...So I guess it's HP related.

I truly believe its gonna be book about James and Lilly!

I agree. Episode 3, while still poor in comparison to episodes 4, 5 and 6, was a massive improvement on 1 and 2, which were abysmal.;)

Well let's face it, Darth Vader sounded more like a perv than a villain.

Episode 3 is actually my favourite of all of them, closely followed by 6,5,and 4 in that order, even when I was little I never found Darth Vader to be particularly scary or evil, more comical,The Emperor however is a superb and creepy villian, in HP I think Voldemort is a great villian too, although in the films I think Helena Bonham Carters portrayal of Bellatrix is amazing.

Back fully on topic like A-Chan said it probably is going to be an HP related announcement and I think she did a great job with the series but would much rather see her do something else, it would also prove to others she isn't a one trick pony.

Or under an invisibility cloak?:P

:laugh3:

I reckon it could be a prequel (the story of Harry's parents etc.).;)

:idea2: that would be interesting....

I couldn't agree more. In fact, I reckon her performance was worthy of an Oscar nomination.;)

She's an excellent actress.

I suppose it's the famous encyclopedy she said she would write on HP universe no?? (even if I secretly hope it's the Maraudeur story with James, Sirius and Lupin....*dream*)

Yeah, I remember that she said she was going to write a HP encyclopedia about all the characters and wizarding world.

But I hope it's something to do with the generation of Harry's parents and Sirius and Lupin and all that stuff. :awesome:

I'm so excited!!!! :bomb:

I agree, she's a great actress, I wasn't that fond of Sweeny Todd but she's fantastic in HP.

Just saw that.

The new book will be called

Harry Potter and the Quest For Employment

After graduating from Hogwarts, Harry, like fellow Hogwarts graduates, finds himself in difficult economic conditions which is severely restricting his job opportunities. How much longer can Harry take serving customers at Tesco's tills before he is swamped by the evil cloak of depression?

Hahaha, genius!! :awesome:

Today!!! How exciting :D

It's most likely gonna be a new HP internet community :blank:

An hour! :) I really hope it'll be a book announcement.

Ohhh what a disappointment. Online reading... :(

Aww, I can't help but feel a bit disappointed too :(

a website to re-create what's already done on fansites and wikipedia... If it's just for adding some stuff now and then, she could have release it in a little book or in ITV.

This is kinda useless....and launch in october?! :dozey:
