  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

their earlier b-sides are lovely, not every but around 90% of them are ace!! another band could make a whole album of Radiohead b-sides lol

so sorry to be awkward...but rapidshare doesnt work for me *embaressed*

no it still doesnt work it just says session invalid

Hey Nik, since you're a freakin Radiohead encyclopedia, (lol) can you tell me if the numbers (18576397) on the back of OK Computer mean anything?

I read somewhere it might have been the time of completion for the album, (6:57 PM, June 3, 1997) but I don't know, it sure seems possible.

Then I have a question too :shy:

I've heard that Radiohead members asked a few children to listen to Kid A and draw something what this music makes them think of...

I wonder if I can find these pictures somewhere.

PS. If anyone except Nikky boy can answer you may do it too :laugh1:

did they? have no idea, nor pictures. i don't think that they did it, someone else (a psychologist??) maybe but they themselves never

Nice site that is. I liked this one:

Video: Paranoid Android

Notes: In the scene where a man with a head growing out of his stomach is dancing on a table, caricatures of all the members of Radiohead are seated around the table.

I've never even thought of that myself, huh.

Haha yeah psychologist is more possible, but I really remember that I've read somewhere that it was their idea or something like that. Shit, I didn't like RH those times so I didn't even bother to read attentively. But if it's true it'd be interesting to see the pictures of kids. Ok thanks anyway.

to artwork:

shoot me if i'm wrong but i can't think of any other bands in the music history who could make better artwork than Radiohead...normally some bands put their photos or lyrics to their songs

but when you buy a Radiohead CD for let's say for 20$ you get:

- predictably one of the best albums of the year

- hours of wasting about the interpretation of lyrics and drawings

and...

- a fucking awesome booklet of Thom's and Stanley's drawings which might be worth thousands of dollars and cents (lol)

...and that's all for 20$. isn't the life awesome?

for Kelly: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=64KN4SS0 :)

Yeah the problem for me is that in Russia it's almost impossible to find a legal cd. I swear, I still can't find even The Bends, what to talk about their new one?..

You may find some legal stuff with booklets and all by The Beatles maybe, but Radiohead... Russia doesn't like Radiohead :bigcry:

But I'm not gonna give up :smug:

i'm pretty sure it does ;) there are many Russian members on AtEase and even we have a Russian RH msgboard :happy2:

http://www.radiohead.ru/conf.htm

Russia loves Radiohead

Haha radiohead.ru board is a dead place... I've registered there once but they visit it like... twice a week :laugh1:

Though I got my Glast'03 dvd from one boy from there. He sent it to me, man, how happy I was :wings:

and yesterday I saw a word "Radiohead" on the wall while going home so yeah, Russia loves Radiohead :laugh1: It just doesn't love legal cd's.

agreed, not too easy to find any legal CDs. even if you find some, it will cost you hell a lot of money (Russian standards)

Thanks alot for the link Nik :)

I agree about your idea's when you buy a radiohead CD as well, never thought about it like that.

Lera,is it really that hard to find CD's of any kind?

Yeah it really is, especially of the band like Radiohead. But you can find any Russian pop album with no problem haha.

And, as Nik mentioned, it's very expensive. Kid A costed me like all the money I had haha... But I was happy as hell 'cause it was a real cd with booklet, pictures, lyrics and all... Oh it's the pearl of my collection :laugh1:

Edit: Whoa, Nikky, you're on fire, thanks so much :cheesy:

haha Russian pop, lovely, just what you want.

How much did it cost you then? just curious lol
