May 13, 201313 yr :awesome: Are there big differences between book and movie? Well the person who wrote the book (Stephen Chbosky) actually directed the movie. The movie is quite accurate, obviously all the details and scenes/chapters can't be included which meant some changes but overall quite similar. I practically know it word for word :P
