July 31, 201312 yr both. please. Okay: 1- Practice since the age of all my life (there are seldom few memories I have when I have NOT drawn). I drew stuff I liked and kept at it forever and still do. 2- Look at this, it gives a rough idea of how I start a simple, digital sketch and how a usual, traditional one may also start.

Start by straight up drawing characters and then figure out, "how can I do this in my own way?"
