I always get inspired by new Coldplay lyrics because it's like running in the dark. You know where you are going but you know it could lead you anywhere. James, I just came up with this nice little guitar part, sounds great when played slow. I'm working on the lyrics now. I'm kinda inspired by the 50's to write the lyrics that way. I feel like Life In Technicolor ii was written with the 50's in mind.

 

How does one write about life in one set of lyrics for a song?
