You're going off on a tangent, for one thing...

...and barely touching the subject of math.

Yeah... I just had my junior meeting with my counselor last week. Got all my transcript info, testing dates, etc. I guess I'm mainly worried because of what I want to study. Plus, according to my family, I like to put myself down, particularly about my achievements in school.

Wow and you're already worring about college?

I'm in tenth grade and I'M worried about college.

This I approve of.

Yes, that's the time you start thinking about applying to which colleges and what majors you like

All is difficult until the mind sees the magic in it all. Before you know it, Trigonometry becomes a breeze, calculus makes sense, and 3-D is a piece of cake. Then there's number theory, statistics, and beyond that, only Anna knows, I surely haven't a clue! :laugh3: U do the math!

Okay, I gotta go now. Parents are home. 'Night! :)

I like math. I love doing good old algebraic expressions. However, pre-calculus and I are having a battle. :P

Well, don't. :P

E=mC^2, so then m=E*C*C, and since C is fixed, then as E gets greater, mass gets greater and greater. Until the spaceship crushes itself and becomes a black hole, or runs out of fuel. If however ..

Still I ponder the meaning of random. Is it the totality of ever increasing systems of order, the sampling of greater and greater states, as described by simultaneous equations? The measure of universal entropy, increases evermore?

Oh, good gracious.

Oh. :( Too bad...

Haha, tangent is fine. I'm only in geometry... I like it little more than algebra :blank:

Why do YOU like math? :P

LOL... oh, I did it too :laugh3:

Because I'm a gifted math student. :P

(would you like to see my SAT scores from the time I took the SAT just before I turned 13?)

I'm a junior.

I'm a sophomore!

Well, you both told me what math classes you were in...

....GEEZ, people. I'm in 8th grade and I'm taking Geometry. And it's too easy. :bomb:

And I'm going to be taking a three-month online Algebra II course, starting next month.

I don't want you to leave, though. Don't get the wrong idea.

I think so. At least, in as many classes as possible.

I'm glad someone was born gifted. :)

Would you like to see my SAT scores?

:P

I'll be going to a math-and-science-centric high school (if I get accepted, anyway). I think not.

Guys I gotta go bye!

Bye, Taameen!
