Even a sculptor could have an automatic chisel do the carving, design the shape on a computer, and custom build many pieces of artwork in hours rather than months! And math is used in many design steps for automated equipment, especially in the programming algorithms.

Some of this is already a reality, some has yet to be created..

Even for curing diseases, often we require 3- D models of the molecules and enzymes involved, plenty of math in the programs to do this!
