How do you put emphasis on words when you type?

Featured Replies

Because Violet bolded something and I thought that was really interesting that she did that instead of italicizing it and now I'm curious. :surprised:

~*~stupid thread~*~

Sometimes I do it like _this_

I think I usually do ~*~this~*~ actually haha :wacky:

It's kinda sad how genuinely interested I am. :|

That finger pierced my soul Reilly, my soul.

Depends. If I would screaming it with emphasis, I go capitalization. If I would say it aloud with calm emphasis, italics. If I'm making a point that I want noticed that I wouldn't otherwise put any certain inflection on, I bold it.

I can't believe I inspired a Crests thread. HAHAHA. :wacky:

Anyway, I tend to capitalize, unless it's something I feel is particularly important, in which case I bold things. As I mentioned to Tammi in the other thread, I'm not a fan of italics.

you said it _~*~YOURSELF~*~_

It depends.

Sometimes I use all caps.

Sometimes I bold.

Sometimes I italicize.

Sometimes I increase/decrease font size.

Sometimes I change the font color.

Sometimes I use a combination of two or more of the above.

Caps if I mad, otherwise I tend to go the bold route. Also, you forgot an underline option.

Basically that.
