Ok I was at work and Every teardrop started up on the radio, and the DJ said something about GreenDay will take the stage with this band, and he either said MTV or VMA award show???? I am heading to the radio website to see if I see anything.

I can't locate any info on this, but I'm pretty sure he said they were gonna be there, maybe I heard something different, sorry if I did, but I'm pretty sure of what he said.

The only thing I found was an article that said Coldplay and Green Day were two bands who had paid tribute to Amy Winehouse in concert.

 

I didn't find any info on the Green Day site either.

 

 

Coldplay's twitter is really good about giving a head's up on stuff like this. I haven't seen any tweets. :confused:

wouldn't the band be finishing up the album around this date? isn't their completion deadline around this time? I would imagine all of their energy is being spent in the studio now

Probably not, I think they need to be nominated for something they don't even have the album yet. I wouldn't want to see them like a half built lego palace, I want the whole thing.

I think the album has been done for a couple weeks. Chris has obviously been on vacation with the family in the Hamptons.

Yeah and the Oasis guy hated them too, but said some nice stuff about them, and U2's Bono always say's shit, but said nice stuff at Glasto, so Greenday might be closet Cper's at heart:D

I'm sure it's not happening, and Carrie your first line... "I was thinking the same thing, so I'm glad you said it", that cracked me up, never thought you'd "not" express your feelings about something:laugh3::P

Oh and I believe the album is finished and Dave said that Coldplay would be doing alot of promoting, interview and television this time around.... I personally am hoping 'Ellen" gets a hold of them for a sit down:)

There is nothing confirm but I hope so. Recently saw Coldplay on MTV NEWS and they said they loved perform Every teardrop is a waterfall and Viva la vida, maybe is a clue ;)
