July 5, 200421 yr *being a post whore* (then again, when am I not? ) let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed Talk and song from tongues of lilting grace, whose sounds caress my ear But not a word I heard could I relate, the story was quite clear Oh, oh. Oh, I been flying... mama, there ain’t no denyin’ I’ve been flying, ain’t no denyin’, no denyin’ All I see turns to brown, as the sun burns the ground And my eyes fill with sand, as I scan this wasted land Trying to find, trying to find where I’ve been. Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace, like thoughts inside a dream Heed the path that led me to that place, yellow desert stream My shangri-la beneath the summer moon, I will return again Sure as the dust that floats high and true, when movin’ through kashmir. Oh, father of the four winds, fill my sails, across the sea of years With no provision but an open face, along the straits of fear Ohh. When I’m on, when I’m on my way, yeah When I see, when I see the way, you stay-yeah Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, when I’m down... Ooh, yeah-yeah, ooh, yeah-yeah, well I’m down, so down Ooh, my baby, oooh, my baby, let me take you there Let me take you there. let me take you there
August 31, 200421 yr I know this is an old thread, but I just got so excited when I saw a thread about my countrymen and favorite band Kashmir, so I had to post. And the fact that it is non-Danish people who have written in this topic just make it more unbelieveable. Never knew Kashmir were known beyond our borders. Anyway, The Aftermath is probably my all-time favorite song. Have you also heard the earlier albums: Good Life? And also the much rockier Cruzential? Actually I would almost say Good Life is better than Zitilites. I'd encourage anyone to try and listen to this amazing Danish band.
August 31, 200421 yr Not really, ive only got 'Zitilites', i dl/ed some of the older stuff, and hmm i prefer zitilites after all.
September 1, 200421 yr ah...i went to my library to find an album by this band, as someone sent me a song over the internet, and i liked it. When i got to the library, i picked up a CD by a band called Kosheen. :/ i'd made a big mistake, they're an awful Dance band. anyway, no-one needs to reply to that..plus, there's not much to say about the disaster, i'll have to move on
September 2, 200421 yr i haven't heard of Cruzential but i have the other 3 albums and i much prefer zitilites. i wish they'd cross the pond to america though eh? :idea2:
September 3, 200421 yr   Its ok, not just you! Peeps even tot we lived in cave and stuff..

September 3, 200421 yr ^lol, so you know where malaysia is eh? :o Im impressed, but hey ur right its the best place to get illegal copies of movies and computer games..i have TONS, and only 5 illegal copies for 10 bucks as well, wanna come over here? :wink3: :o We nahhhh no more the tallest building..2nd tallest, taipei 101 is the tallest :(
February 28, 200521 yr Zitilites is probably the best album I own. And I own quite some albums. What a great band.. too bad they're only known in a few countries. Melpomene is a genius song.. and The Push, The Aftermath and Petite Machine, for instance, are great too. One of the European mainland's best kept secrets I guess :)
February 28, 200521 yr All of you! Give these tracks a try.. I doubt you'll ever regret it :) Melpomene: http://s22.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=07BQORTQXLMM407FQQAD61DNB3 Petite Machine: (last minute of this song is GREAT, the whole buildup probably is) http://s7.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3EJOL2729FPT80XG8OAFZW4D0L The Push: (melancholic wouldn't be the right word. this great song is melancholy in person!) http://s7.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=02U0KPOI8W6122NAMMYYS8JQ75 The Aftermath: http://s7.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3OEPVX7LYHTTE1A2HA3KFN2NIO
February 28, 200521 yr yeah i'm in love with Zitilites. it's such a good album to just chill to. i'm surprised they aren't very popular in europe. it probably would've gotten more acclaim if it wasn't shadowed by hail to the theif.
February 28, 200521 yr whoa! you live in malaysia? i dont even know where that is! a map to eric, please! :o
March 1, 200521 yr Kashmir is indeed Europe's best kept secret. I'm pretty sure everyone on this board would like them. Zitilites probably isn't the best album I own, but it's the only album I would recomend to EVERYONE.
