Maybe you've not heard about him, or maybe this new isn't remarkable for you...

His name was 'Snowflake', he was 40 years old (about 80 years for an human) and he suffered skin cancer. He has been the unique white gorilla known in the world.

He was a symbol in Barcelona, all the tourists went to see him at the zoo. Specially the children loved him, all the schools in the city visited him at least once... I was about 4 times or more!!

 

It's a sad new for all the people here in Barcelona... :(

Thats really sad V , but i guess they may get a replacement sometime !

When you hear that you wish he could have spent his life outside of the zoo where he can live in peace, then again as soon as people would have known about him being the only one of his species, he prolly wouldn't have been safe. :stunned:

I don't accept that line of thinking. "Live free or die" is a famous motto in America. I would rather let this gorilla live free, the way it was meant to be.

 

You should see a documentary of how one woman has tried to make a big difference in the lies of chimps and gorillas of Africa...
